Linggo ng Lucena

Officially set at August 20, this even commemorates the chartering of Lucena into a full-fledged city in 1961. It immediately follows the national celebration of the birth of former president Manuel L. Quezon, a reason why the weeklong celebration is associated with Linggo ng Wika.
