Mayor Mark Don Victor B. Alcala inked his first Executive Order on his 1st day of office, July 1.
The E.O. 1 titled ‘An Order Establishing The Lucena City Customer Service Excellence Committee And Defining Its Duties And Functions’ ensures that each and every interaction with the local government offices is with the highest standards of courtesy, efficiency, transparency, and quality client experience guided by the thrust that ‘Sa Lucena, VIP ka.’
In his inaugural speech, Mayor Mark mentioned this program as one of his major thrusts early on. He enjoined city hall heads and employees to institutionalize prompt and courteous service to the public.
Under section 1, the Lucena City Customer Service Excellence Council is organized headed by Mayor Alcala as chairperson; City Administrator Anacleto C. Alcala Jr. is Vice-Chair; Dr. Criselda C. David (City Human Resources Management), Ms. Alyssa Marie L. Mijares (General Services), Ms. Lerma A. Fajarda (City Treasurer), Ms. Mayshell D. Rañada (City Social Welfare), Mr. Wendell L. Perez (Business Permit & Licensing Office) as members.
The City Legal Office shall serve as the Committee’s Secretariat, as stated in Section 4.
