Mayor Alcala Leads DLL Building Inauguration
A scorching April day heralded the unveiling of another milestone for the faculty and students of the Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena (DLL) and for the future enrollees of this academic institution.
A new 3-storey building was inaugurated, led by Mayor Mark Don Victor Alcala, who expressed his sense of fulfillment with this latest addition to the learning institution.
The building houses nine fully airconditioned classrooms which are guaranteed to harness young minds to encourage their full potentials towards academic excellence.
DLL President, Dr. Ma. Charmaine Lagustan assured Mayor Mark and Vice-Mayor Roderick ‘Dondon’ Alcala that this additional building shall be used by the students and faculty to effectively create a conducive learning environment – one that will spawn innovative ideas for the consumption of younger generation of Lucenahins.
Dr. Freddie Bulauan, Chief Administrative Officer, graced the memorable occasion as Guest of Honor and Speaker, on behalf of Dr. Virginia Akiate, Director IV, CHED Regional Office 4.
City officials were also present to witness the event, including councilors Benito Brizuela, Jr., Patrick Norman Nadera, Elizabeth Sio, Jose Christian Ona and SK Federation President Rolden Garcia.
In June 2020, DLL was conferred as Higher Education Institution. To date, it has nine academic programs
