DILG lauds Lucena LGU’s anti-drug push

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) recognized the City of Lucena as one of the National Awardees of the 2019 National Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Award.

The Award is given to LGUs who garnered perfect score based on the 2018 ADAC Performance Audit and LGUs with High ADAC Functionality scores as reported by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

The same feat has earned the city the same honor from DILG in 2018.

Mayor Roderick A. Alcala acknowledged the award as an incentive to continuously explore new possibilities to further good governance practices and enhance the city’s capability to serve Lucenahins.

Ms. Francia Malabanan heads the local CADAC.
