DILG commends Lucena LGU

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) commended the City Government of Lucena as one of the Good Financial Housekeeping Passers (formerly known as Seal of Good Housekeeping) in the year 2019.

This assessment aims to recognize local government units with good financial transparency. It requires a recent qualified or unqualified COA Audit Opinion and compliance with the full disclosure (FDP) posting requirements in 3 conspicuous places for the last 2 preceding quarters and posting on the FDP Portal for the last 2 preceding quarters.

Being a GFH Passer assures that the local government unit is transparent and compliant with accounting and auditing rules and regulations. It has also been adopted by selected government agencies as an eligibility requirement for its programs.

Prior to this, the city also received the seal of good local governance in 2015.
